SHOULD WE SPREAD THE IMPACT, OR FOCUS IT?
From January to June 2026, Black Sheep customers supported men’s health, helped make women and girls more visible in sport, and backed the next generation of Australian riders. The impact grew, and the numbers now ask where we can do the most good.

MORE MEN LIVING HEALTHIER, LONGER LIVES.
Movember takes on some of the biggest health challenges facing men: mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. The work starts with better conversations and reaches into research, services and care.
Funding backs research, health-service interventions and the testing of ideas that can improve how men are reached and supported. It helps turn awareness into practical programs, stronger evidence and better outcomes.
WHY IT MATTERS / Too many men wait until they are in crisis. Movember works to help men act earlier, stay connected and live longer.

MORE WOMEN SEEN. MORE GIRLS BELIEVING THEY BELONG.
Women Sport Australia works for a sporting culture where women and girls are visible, valued and able to participate on equal terms. That means challenging stereotypes and opening more space for athletes, leaders and stories.
Its work combines advocacy, amplification and action: influencing decision-makers, building community and creating platforms that celebrate women in sport. Visibility matters because seeing a pathway can be the first step towards taking it.
WHY IT MATTERS / When women’s sport is seen, funded and taken seriously, the next generation grows up with a bigger idea of what is possible.

BACKING THE NEXT GENERATION, ON AND OFF THE BIKE.
The Australian Cycling Academy gives young riders a serious pathway into the sport without asking them to put the rest of life on hold. Racing, education and personal development are built into the same program.
The Academy combines high-performance training, mentoring and national and international race opportunities. Riders keep studying or training while learning what it takes to perform, work together and build a future beyond one result.
WHY IT MATTERS / Talent needs more than a start line. It needs equipment, coaching, opportunity and people prepared to believe in the long road.

MORE IMPACT. AND A CLEARER NEXT MOVE.
The first six months gave us more than a total. They showed us where customer choice, our own activity and the limits of the current system are shaping Do Good—and what we need to decide next.
INTENTION OR INTERFACE?
Movember received 81.5% of the ecommerce allocation. That may be a clear expression of what customers care about. It may also be shaped by the way the checkout choice is ordered, framed or understood. The result is too strong to ignore—and too important to explain away.
WE HAVE BUILT MORE AROUND MIND HEALTH.
Black Sheep has created more Mind Health Project activations, stories and community moments than it has for any other Do Good initiative. That creates an inherent bias in awareness—and likely in selection. The honest question is whether to correct the imbalance, or recognise that this is where our brand, community and impact already have the deepest momentum and consolidate more of Do Good behind it.
THE TOTAL IS STILL ECOMMERCE ONLY.
Wholesale and custom sales are not yet included in these figures, despite the 2026 objective to bring them into the program. That means the current total does not reflect every way Black Sheep sells. The next reporting system needs to make every channel visible and accountable to the same commitment.
THE NUMBER GREW. THE MARGIN DIDN’T MAKE IT EASY.
War disrupted key shipping routes. Tariff activity intensified. Energy, freight and input costs moved against us. Those pressures landed in sourcing, delivery and margin. We are proud total contributions still increased year on year. When the environment got harder, the commitment did not get smaller.
TEST THE CHOICE. CHOOSE OUR CENTRE. CLOSE THE CHANNEL GAP.
We will examine how the checkout experience shapes selection; decide whether Do Good should remain evenly distributed or consolidate more intentionally behind the Mind Health Project; and build wholesale and custom into the same contribution and reporting system. The goal is not simply a larger number. It is a clearer program, a stronger point of view and more impact we can account for.
